PHOENIX — A 25-year-old sustained fatal injuries Sunday evening in a motorcycle crash reported in north Phoenix.
On May 24 shortly before 9 p.m., a vehicle struck a motorcycle in the area of 27th Avenue and Yorkshire Drive, near the Loop 101 and Interstate 17 interchange.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital for critical injuries and was pronounced deceased. Police have identified the motorcyclist as Kendra L. Harrison.

The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.
Police said preliminary information suggests the car was stopped at a red light on 27th Avenue and turned left in front of Harrison after thinking the red turn-arrow had turned green. Police said the turn-arrow remained red and the regular street light had turned green.
The driver of the vehicle did not show signs of impairment, police said.
Charging decisions will be made after investigators finish reconstructing the collision.
