FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — An investigation is underway after a baby was found dead inside a Flagstaff hotel room, the city’s police department said.

Around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, police received a report of a possible infant death at the La Quinta Inn located near I-40 and 4th Street. When authorities arrived on the scene, they found a dead infant inside one of the hotel rooms, police said.
Authorities said two other children were found in the room. Both were reportedly unharmed and are safe.
