TAYLOR, Arizona — Police officials are investigating an incident that resulted in the deaths of a father and son in Arizona.

Snowflake-Taylor Police Department responded on May 18 to a home near Cedar Street in Taylor after receiving a report of two dead people. The bodies were discovered by a family member.
It was determined that Donald Shurter Sr. fatally shot his adult son, Donald Shurter Jr, before taking his own life, police said.
There is no threat to the public and no additional suspects are believed to be involved.
