COTTONWOOD, Ariz. — A man is on the run after reportedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a juvenile female on May 20 in Cottonwood.

Police said they received a report that a man had kidnapped a juvenile female at gunpoint in a business parking lot near West State Route 89A and 12th Street.
The Cottonwood Police Department said the victim was forced to drive the man around the city, and she was sexually assaulted.
Police said the suspect eventually fled on foot after the victim and her family called 911.

“The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50 years of age, white, thin build, wearing a camo jacket or hoodie, gray jean-like shorts and a mask covering his face,” officials said.
