YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. \u2014 A teenage girl who had been reported missing was found dead Monday morning in southern Arizona.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded on June 1 to a report of a dead body found on Adams Avenue and discovered a deceased female. Her death was described by the sheriff’s office as being “suspicious.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The individual could not initially be identified but YCSO eventually discovered the deceased person was a 15-year-old from the San Luis area who had been previously reported missing. Next of kin were notified of the girl’s death, the sheriff’s office said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Authorities have not disclosed how the girl may have died.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
