GAITHERSBURG, Md. \u2014 Montgomery County police have charged two women, including the victim\u2019s daughter, with first-degree murder in the killing of a 67-year-old Silver Spring woman, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Officers responded around 11:11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, to the Charter House apartments in the 1300 block of Fenwick Lane for a welfare check. Inside, they found Hilde Henderson dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Henderson\u2019s body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy determined her death was a homicide, according to police.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Through their investigation, detectives identified Henderson\u2019s daughter, 29-year-old Vanessa Tjongarero-Henderson of Clarksburg, and her girlfriend, 36-year-old Samantha Raebel of Phoenix, as suspects in the case.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Investigators have obtained arrest warrants charging both women with first-degree murder. As of Thursday, authorities said the suspects had not been located and are asking for the public\u2019s help finding them.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information about the suspects\u2019 whereabouts or the case is urged to call 911. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-8477 or online at crimesolversmcmd.org. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Police have not released additional details about what led up to the killing.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
