PHOENIX, Arizona \u2014 Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault and kidnapping that occurred early May 13 at Margaret Hance Park.<\/p>\n

A park employee, Roy Galindo, \u00a0lured a victim to a restroom, blocked the exit, and coerced unwanted sexual contact despite repeated refusals, according to Phoenix police. The victim later reported the incident, and the suspect was located and detained on-site.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Galindo admitted a sexual encounter took place, but claimed it was consensual, while the victim denies consent, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Galindo has been booked into the Maricopa County jail and is currently not performing job duties while the city conducts an internal investigation.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
