PHOENIX — A man has been sentenced to eight years in an Arizona prison for participating in a “trafficking enterprise” that targeted Walmart stores across the Grande Canyon State, officials said.

Alexander Dantzler was recently ordered to pay Walmart up to $140,000 in restitution after he pleaded guilty to charges of fraud, organized retail theft, trafficking stolen property and illegally conducting an enterprise, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
Dantzler was involved in a series of thefts that targeted Walmart stores located in Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Yavapai, Mohave, Graham and Santa Cruz counties.
An indictment filed against Dantzler claimed the Walmart thefts involved stealing retail items like an electric scooter, earbuds, a Nintendo Switch, cologne, work boots and a battery charger.

Upon completing his prison sentence, the defendant will be placed on probation for 14 years.
