PHOENIX — Travelers will have a new option when traveling to one of Mexico’s most-visited destinations, as the Scottsdale airport will offer nonstop flights to Cabo San Lucas in the fall.

The semiprivate airline JSX will launch the flight option as of October 2026.

“We are thrilled to welcome JSX’s new nonstop Cabo service to Scottsdale Airport,” said Rick Wielebski, aviation director for Scottsdale Airport. “This announcement reflects the continued demand for premium, convenient air travel options in our community and reinforces Scottsdale’s position as a world-class destination and aviation hub.” 

City Manager Greg Caton mentioned the service reflects Scottsdale’s continued growth as a destination for both visitors and businesses.

“Scottsdale Airport is an important economic asset that supports tourism, business development and regional connectivity,” Caton said. “Adding nonstop service to Cabo San Lucas expands travel opportunities for residents and visitors while reinforcing Scottsdale’s reputation as a premier destination with world-class transportation infrastructure.” 

The city said that flights are expected to operate multiple times a week. Schedules and fares will be available later at the JSX Airline page.
