The motorcyclist died at the scene. The rider has been identified as 31-year-old Morgan Julian.
Southbound Signal Butte Road was closed, and traffic restrictions were in place on SR 24.
The Roadrunner Restaurant & Saloon in New River released the following statement on social media on Julian:
“Join us as we come together to honor and celebrate the life of Morgan Julian, a beloved friend, father, bull rider, judge, and member of our community who was taken from us far too soon. Saturday, June 20th at the Roadrunner.
This special evening will be filled with memories, stories, laughter, and love as we remember the impact Morgan had on so many lives. We will also be hosting a silent auction and raffles, with all proceeds going directly to support Morgan’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
Whether you knew Morgan personally or simply want to help a family in need, we invite you to join us.
Together, we can honor his legacy, show our support, and remind his family that they are not alone.
Thank you for helping us celebrate Morgan’s life and support those he loved most.
