GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man is in the hospital after being struck by a pickup truck at 59th Avenue and Bethany Home Road late Tuesday night, according to Glendale Police.

Patrol officers responded to the area just before midnight for a pedestrian collision, according to officials.
The police said they located a 61-year-old man with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he is in stable condition and is expected to survive his injuries, police said.
Officers said the 20-year-old driver of the truck appeared to be under the influence of marijuana and was transported to Glendale City Jail for a DUI investigation.
Detectives are investigating the crash, GPD said.
Officers said that no other information is available.
