The May 12 letter instructs the Pit Stop RV Park to restore power by 5 p.m. on May 14, after an investigation reportedly found that the park’s operators shut off power following a warning to residents to vacate the park within 48 hours.

The letter notes how the park’s residents are potentially facing an immediate safety risk now that the area’s temperatures are returning to the triple-digit range.

“It is unlawful to deprive RV park tenants covered by the RV Long Term Rental Space Act of essential services without due process of law,” the attorney general’s letter states.
