According to Buckeye police, 19-year-old Antonio Tequida was arrested Sunday.

Police said Tequida drove the shooting suspect, Michael Isiah Sanchez, to the scene of the shooting. Tequida then drove Sanchez to a friend’s house after the shooting to hide from police.

Tequida was arrested at an Avondale home Sunday and is facing charges of hindering prosecution.

Court documents said Tequida told police he was unaware of what Sanchez did with the firearm.

According to authorities, Sanchez allegedly shot three women at a home in Buckeye on May 14.

16-year-old Rylee Montgomery, who was pregnant at the time of the shooting and a previous girlfriend of Sanchez, died on scene.

The other victims, a 17-year-old pregnant girl and a 22-year-old woman, were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The department also revealed that a month before the shooting on April 13, police responded to a call where Montgomery reported being assaulted by Sanchez. She told police that Sanchez threatened her with a gun.
