The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall alert on May 14 about Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swings sold at Costco stores and online. The patio swings can detach from the frame while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fall.

The recall comes after the manufacturer received eight reports of the swing seats detaching from the frame, resulting in eight injuries, including impact to the head and arms.

The swings were sold from February 2026 through March 2026 exclusively at Costco stores and on Costco.com. The patio furniture retailed between $549 and $649.

The swings have a black metal frame, black metal swing arms, a fabric canopy and a padded seat in brown outdoor wicker, according to the notice. The recalled swing frame is about 75-inches-high, 71-inches-wide and 48-inches-deep.
