PHOENIX — Temperatures are turning up daily and are expected to spike on Monday near 110 degrees and near records in the Valley.

Monday’s record high is 110 degrees, set in 1934.
The hottest Phoenix has been so far this year is 105 degrees, which we were stuck with for three days in a row on March 19th through the 21st. Phoenix may push past that mark on Mother’s Day.
All of Arizona will be overachieving 10-15 degrees above average over the next week.
Sunshine will soak the skies until some clouds cruise in during the middle of next week to help (kind of) take the edge off the high heat. Those clouds don’t bring any hope for rain.
