PHOENIX — A woman was injured after being thrown from a vehicle in central Phoenix overnight, according to the city’s police department.

Around midnight, officers were called to a fight near 19th Avenue and Grant Street.
Upon arrival, police found a woman with a leg injury, police said.
The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and took the woman to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to preliminary information, police believe the woman was thrown out of the vehicle by an unknown person. Police said the vehicle wasn’t located.
