WASHINGTON — Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is resigning from the Trump administration, according to multiple media reports.

Fox News, Axios and the Wall Street Journal reported Friday that Gabbard was stepping down from her role. She is the latest member of the Trump cabinet to step down from the administration.
According to Fox News, Gabbard notified Trump about her resignation on Friday. She is expected to remain at her job until June 30.

In her resignation letter, as reported by Fox News, she said is leaving to support her husband who has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.
Gabbard is the fourth Trump Cabinet departure and follows resignations from Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem.
