PHOENIX — Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in north Phoenix on Saturday night, according to the city’s police department.

Around 11 p.m., officers were called to a three-vehicle crash near 19th Avenue and Union Hills Drive.
Upon arrival, one driver was trapped inside a vehicle and needed to be extricated by fire crews.

Police said two drivers were taken to the hospital. One driver had non-life-threatening injuries, while the second driver’s injury severity is unknown, police said.
It is unknown if impairment was a factor in the crash.
