On April 30, Eva Garcia, 23, entered a police station near McKellips and Miller roads armed with a gun. The released body camera and surveillance video show the moments police shot her during the standoff.
Garcia survived the shooting and is facing multiple charges from the incident.
In the video from the lobby, Garcia can be seen pointing a gun at a police aide. You can then see her turning the weapon toward a bystander in the lobby, demanding that he go to his knees.
Officers then arrived in the lobby and ordered Garcia to drop the gun. She appeared to then aim her weapon at the officers, but it looks like it jammed.

During her court appearance, a judge set Garcia’s bail at an $850,000 cash-only bond.
