Authorities continue to search for answers, but updates from investigators have offered little clarity on what happened to her.
Here is what we know about the ongoing investigation.
A trial date is coming up soon for Derrick Callella, a California man accused of sending a fake ransom note to the Guthrie family. Callella, who faces federal charges, is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, June 23.
Nancy Guthrie was first reported missing on Feb. 1. A week into the investigation, authorities recovered doorbell camera footage from her home showing a masked man at her front door. To date, authorities have been unable to use evidence from the scene to locate Guthrie, or identify the suspect.
On Mother’s Day, Guthrie’s daughter, “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie, shared an emotional plea for help online.
“We will never stop looking for you,” Savannah Guthrie said in post on her Instagram account. “We will never be at peace until we find you.”

The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for information that helps move the case forward.
This past weekend was CrimeCon, a true-crime convention in Las Vegas. It’s where a defense attorney on a panel about the case claimed that Savannah Guthrie has allegedly spent $500,000 of her own money to hire private investigators to aid the search.
The ongoing investigation comes amid friction between top law enforcement officials. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos continues to face public criticism from FBI Director Kash Patel regarding his department’s handling of the case.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is asking homeowners in the Catalina Foothills area to review and submit any questionable surveillance footage captured on Jan. 11, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
