Smoke can be seen billowing from the Arizona Department of Transportation camera feed near the Loop 101 and University Drive in Tempe.
12News reached out to the Tempe Fire Department and the Tempe Police Department for more information.
According to a witness whose house was also burned, there were sounds like explosions, and he saw the fire go toward his home. He also told 12News that while no people were injured, his neighbor’s dog did die in the flames.
