A park employee, Roy Galindo, lured a victim to a restroom, blocked the exit, and coerced unwanted sexual contact despite repeated refusals, according to Phoenix police. The victim later reported the incident, and the suspect was located and detained on-site.
Galindo admitted a sexual encounter took place, but claimed it was consensual, while the victim denies consent, police said.
Galindo has been booked into the Maricopa County jail and is currently not performing job duties while the city conducts an internal investigation.
