PHOENIX — The annual release of the NFL season schedule has turned into an event as big as the games themselves. And teams have gotten pretty creative with their reveals.

From anime-inspired videos to full-on rap songs, the marketing departments for these franchises are working overtime to create something that grabs their fans’ attention.
This year, the Cardinals looked to Big Red and his fellow mascots to help announce the schedule.
Here are some important dates to remember:
– The Cardinals will start the season on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers. Head Coach Mike LaFleur makes his debut at SoFi Stadium, where he coached the past three seasons (2023-25) with the Rams.

– Arizona’s first home game is Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. Cards RB Jeremiyah Lovewill face off against his college teammate, Seahawks rookie RB Jadarian Price.
– The Cardinals head to Dallas for week 8. Cards have won 4 straight & 8 of the last 9 vs. the Cowboys. In 2025, the Cardinals finished 3-14 and in fourth place in the NFC West. During the NFL Draft, Arizona selected Notre Dame running back Jeremiah Love with the third overall pick.
