Manakaja was arrested after officials found her 16-month-old baby deceased at a Flagstaff hotel on May 17. Court records show the child was found “obviously frozen” and wrapped in plastic. The suspect allegedly told investigators that she hurt her child by throwing the baby into his crib “out of frustration.”

Court records show the indictment accuses the defendant of failing to seek medical care for the injured child.
