More than 350 businesses and cultural institutions will participate in this year’s event by offering deals on drinks, tickets, dance lessons and merchandise. “602 Day” first launched in 2024 as an opportunity to promote civic pride in Arizona’s largest city.
In addition to the long list of deals, the city will host events on June 2 at multiple senior centers and the Phoenix Fire Department’s historic Station 8 house.
“602 Day is a great time to show our pride and embrace the energy and places that make our community special,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said in a statement. “Named after our area code, 602 Day highlights our restaurants, retailers, artists, entrepreneurs, and unique places—there’s no better opportunity to discover something new and celebrate Phoenix.”
